History
RE/MAX Advantage Realty was founded in Columbia, Maryland in 1988.
Alex Karavasilis and Leslie Rock acquired the firm in 1992, bringing to it their vast experience and expertise in residential real estate, commercial development, and contract negotiation. RE/MAX Advantage Realty, known affectionately as RMA began with just one office and a handful of agents. It has since grown to become a powerhouse brokerage in the region with over 250 professional and dedicated associates and 8 convenient locations. Alex and Leslie have kept Columbia as their head-quarters and added office locations in Baltimore, Eldersburg, Fulton, Ocean City, Delaware, and Westminster.
