We are a husband and wife team, having 38+ combined years of real estate experience. Our family has lived in Howard County since 1975. Our two daughters attended Howard county schools from kindergarten thru high school. Our oldest daughter graduated from the University of Maryland at College Park, our youngest daughter is a graduate of Howard Community College and is pursuing her bachelors degree. We also have had five exchange daughters from various countries live with us and complete their senior high school year. Living, working, and having first hand experience with the Howard county school system enables us to be a great resource to our clients!
Prior to finding her niche in the Real Estate industry, Judy worked as a professional accountant, and account executive. I also worked as a professional accountant, as well as a professional horseman.
As a horse trainer and riding instuctor, I helped to guide our oldest daughter to a national ranking in show jumping as a teenager. I also instructed at a theraputic riding center as the Head Riding Instructor for several years, which I found very rewarding. Judy served many hours on the Board of Directors for the Columbia Figure Skating Club, as our youngest daughter progressed and eventually skated in several international competitions before retiring at the ripe age of 14.
In addition to my real estate career, I am a member of The Screen Actors Guild. I work on several roles each year in feature films and television. My most recent film work is on HBO's new John Adams mini-series starring Paul Giamatti, in which I play the Maryland Delegate to the Continental Congress. Tom Hanks is the executive producer, and the series aired in 2008. I have also worked on "The Wire", M. Night Shymalan's "The Village", Disney's "Ladder 49", George Clooney's "Syriana", Nicole Kidman's "The Visiting", and in "Body of Lies" starring Russell Crowe and Leonardo DiCaprio. I also had the honor of standing-in and doubling on horseback for Robert Duvall in the film "Gods and Generals". In addition, I coach the Varsity and Junior Varsity Cheerleading teams at Atholton High School.
Judy continues to volunteer and is now serving on the Board of Directors of The Howard County Million $ Club for top level real estate agents in our area. Both Judy and I have served in various church positions which include: Board of Directors, Church President, First Reader, and Sunday School teachers.
Education continues to be an important facet of our real estate careers. Both Judy and I have degrees in business admin with concentrations in accounting. I have an MBA from The Johns Hopkins University, and Judy is half-way to her masters degree in business at Johns Hopkins. Each year we continue to stay current with updated advanced real estate classes including Brian Buffini's Providence Systems. Special designations include the CRS (Certified Residential Specialist), Luxury Homes Specialist, and e-PRO. In addition we have been certified by the National Trust for Historic Preservation to market historical properties, and have completed numerous advanced classes as Relocation Specialists.
We are best known for the personal touch we give to each of our clients. From the start of the transaction thru settlement and beyond we are personally available to assist our clients in meeting their real estate needs.
